Francisco Monroy, Wannabe CEO

I am deeply passionate about innovation and entrepreneurship. In 2024, I made the bold decision to leave my Ph.D. program in electrical engineering, where I was working on developing an AI-driven application for wound analysis in healthcare. Unenamoured by the rigidity and long-term commitments required of academia and healthcare, especially as a combination, I decided to find a different approach. I now aim to launch mobile applications, web products & services, and other software that may evolve into startups, with the goal of accumulating captial to fund greater and greater visions for impactful technology. Long-term interests include climate tech, space exploration and asteriod mining, agriculture, biotechnology, cybersecurity, energy, healthcare, and manufacturing.

Growing up, I admired Iron Man. His ingenuity and ability to pursue his visions inspired my vision for Monroy Industries. Monroy Industries embodies a commitment to bold, transformative technology with the potential to create meaningful impact.
